About MUSC CARES Medical Clinic
The CARES Medical Clinic has many ongoing needs for support. A current need is the acquisition of a mobile van to be used for vaccination clinics. This van will operate as part of the CARES Pediatric Prevention Clinic, providing public health outreach and vaccines to uninsured children in danger of being expelled from school due to a lack of vaccinations. The van will enable the clinic’s expansion of public health outreach, with a long-term goal of supporting a more broad immunization initiative. These vaccinations are routine pediatric vaccines required for public school. Current clinics are staffed by volunteer staff and medical students. https://muschealth.org/medical-services/cares/donate
